Many years ago we discovered a need for a suitable time monitoring/attendance system. We are all aware how easy and tempting it can be for staff to submit inaccurate time sheets and the effects this causes to the standards being delivered.
Couple this with the impact non-attendance can have on a business, we invested heavily into a system called STAFFCHECK. We assisted in refining this system with its designers, to suit the needs of the cleaning industry.
All our staff must log into this system through your telephone before starting and finishing work. Thus enabling accurate recording of the hours you are paying for being delivered on site. In cases of non-attendance, this system sends an ‘SMS’ text message to one of our area managers alerting them of a potential problem. The same feature also works on single cleaner sites. This satisfies H & S requirements of employees working alone. Our managers can then investigate and summon where required emergency cleaners, liase with customers or in the case of lone workers check out the safety
of our staff.
STAFFCHECK also includes a regular voice verification to ensure that all cleaners are on site.
Un-like a biometric system we are already aware of non-attendance and can be proactive on your behalf as apposed to reactive to your telephone call informing us that our staff did not turn up to work.
We saw this as being better than finger print recognition etc. as the voice verification is random, therefore the employee can not trick the system.
I think you will agree this is an invaluable tool and helps ensure you get the quality service you are paying for. We have also placed trackers on many of our vehicles to further manage emergency cover.
