Based in Sheffield and operating throughout South Yorkshire, RGS Cleaning Ltd was established in 1986 by Ray and Coral Guise-Smith with the aim of providing a high quality service to business’s of all types.  We offer many of the advantages of national contractors whilst being delivered by a friendly local family business.

With a large client base we specialise in servicing premises such as: offices, retail units (from shops and restaurants to bars, clubs and fitness facilities), department stores and schools. We also service medical centres and veterinary practices. 

We realised early on that providing the best service is the result of a good partnership between contractor and client. 

Ray has built the company up over the last 22 years drawing on his knowledge in the cleaning industry.  He has formerly been involved in everything from floor cleaning maintenance to selling cleaning machines, equipment and janitorial supplies.  Now a freeman & liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners he is an expert in his field.

Coral was able to put together the most efficient and suitable administration package, starting as a company from the back bedroom in their own home, she enabled RGS Cleaning Ltd to become one of the most professional contractors within the South Yorkshire area.   Thanks to her, over the years the company has been refined to include features such as STAFFCHECK time management.   These systems enabled the cleaning hours worked to be monitored and prevent fraudulent time sheets and non-attendances, etc.

The use of mobile emergency cleaners provides quick and efficient cover in the event off non-attendance, so that you can get on without major disruption.

These factors, together with many others, have enabled RGS Cleaning to work with many of our clients for ten years and over.

Our aim is to take a client on and work with them to adapt and alter the service provided to suit their ever changing needs.

Our sustainability as a quality provider is most evident by our longest example of a customer relationship, which lasted over 18 years.
